Aliste’s cold winters oxygenate the soils and clean them of mites and fungi, bringing an almost natural disinfection of the vines.
This allows us to keep phytosanitary sprays down to a very small number. The normal number of vine sprays is two: the first being in May in the form of sulphur dust at the beginning of vine shooting; and the second is in July after the flowering process when sulphur and copper sulphate are sprayed.
