VendimiaHarvest

El momento de la vendimia se elige después de hacer dos muestreos de bayas  por la viña, analizando azúcar, grado probable, PH, acidez total y potasio, mirando al cielo, pero principalmente catando la uva comprobando que las pepitas y el raspón estén los más secos posibles.

Es ahí el momento de reunir a la familia y si el tiempo acompaña, en dos días la acabamos.

Utilizamos cajas de plástico apilables de 18 kilos.The harvesting dates are chosen after doing two analyses of grape samples, in which we check sugar levels, potential alcohol, pH, total acidity and potassium. These are backed up with careful monitoring of the weather and especially by tasting berries and checking that grape pips and stalks are as dry as possible.
It’s then time to get the family together, and within a couple of days, weather permitting, we have done the harvest.
We bring in the grapes in 18 kilo self-stacking plastic crates.
